Top 10 things you wanted to know about PGPM
1. What is the name of the programme?
The programme is Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM). It is of one year duration
2. Is PGPM from EABS’ partner European University is recognized in Europe? What about its status in India?
Yes, PGPM and credits earned through the partner university are recognized in Europe. The degree will have similar status as any other foreign qualification in India. We have not yet sought affiliation from regulatory authorities in India. The degree is recognized as top-tier qualification by majority of industry for MBA level hiring in India & abroad. EABS graduates receives equivalent or higher level jobs in companies. Student will receive credits as per European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) through our partner European University.
3. What about international internships and international placements?
Participants are given opportunity to undertake international internship with our partner companies. The participants have option of choosing to work at Indian/Foreign location based on the role/project offered to them. The duration of the internship will be from 6-8 weeks during the third trimester. During the internship, participants are offered modest stipend.
4. What are the placement prospects for the next batch of studetns?
Best placement support is given if you qualify for One Year Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM). You may be starting your career at a management cadre with the companies coming for the placements. Our 2008-09 graduates have received top level placements with leading companies in India & abroad. 5. How was the placement for earlier batches?
2008-09 batch was placed entirely despite the economic upheavals. The Highest salary package was Rs 9.67 Lakhs p.a. Average was Rs 5.9 Lakhs. Please browse the placement page for further details.

7. What are the essentials of a good application?
State the correct details in your application. Don't hide or give unnecessary details. Your selection depends on many components of application like test score, performance in personal interview, and your previous academic background. At any point of time if it is discovered that the information provided is not valid or un-true, it may result in cancellation of the candidature.
8. Is it necessary to get recommendation letter? Who is eligible to provide recommendations?
It is desirable to get recommendation letters. Though not essential, letter of recommendation would help us in knowing what others think about you. Your Employer, former/current supervisor, academic teacher, or principal/HOD of your school/college may write a recommendation letter for you. In case if candidate is not able to approach anyone mentioned above, he/she may seek letter from known person who can vouch for his academic as well as managerial capabilities.
9. How are students selected?
In their review of applications, admissions committees consider all the applicant's completed academic work, test score, evidence of leadership and motivation, letters of recommendation (desired), level of job responsibility and work history, and unique talents and contributions. Applicants are reviewed on their potential for successful performance in graduate business studies and their competitiveness within the current applicant pool. 10. What would be the batch size for 2010-11 academic year?
The batch size would be approximately 120 students for 2010-11 batch.
